Day 1 : Bai Dinh Pagoda and Boat Trip in Trang An
8:00 AM Meet your tour-guide and driver at your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy 2 hours drive to the center of the Red River Delta. Stop as your wishes to take photos along the way with peaceful villages, rice fields, and buffaloes grazing along the river.
Upon arrival, the local boatman will escort you by his boat to discover Trang An Nature Reserve. Gently past lime-stone mountain ranges adorned with diverse flora, you’ll navigate through caves filled with uniquely shaped stalactites, make a specially visit a stunning 1 km long water cave. Every turn reveals breathtaking and unexpected scenery. This enchanting destination was even chosen by Hollywood director for several scenes in the film King Kong (2017).
After lunch, take a buggy car to begin your visit to Bai Dinh Pagoda. Stroll along the corridor lined with 500 Arhat statues and admire the impressive 36-ton bronze bell, the thousand-eyed, thousand-armed Guanyin, and the majestic 10-meter-high bronze Buddha, all meticulously crafted by local artisans.
Lift to the top of the tallest stupa, where your tour guide will share insights about the origins and significance of Buddhism in Vietnamese culture.
