  • Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival

    Upon your arrival at the airport, Asia Life Travel tour guide and private car will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day you are free for jet lag. 

    Note: Standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability.
  • Day 2 : Charming and Historical Hanoi

    Meet tour guide after breakfast for a full-day exploration of Hanoi. First visit the renowned Temple of Literature and the Quoc Tu Giam—Vietnam's first university, was founded within the temple to educate the royal family, mandarins, and elite members for an impressive 800 years.

    Afterward, you can choose between museum options (to be decided on the tour day):

    Option 1:Vietnam Women’s Museum. This highly regarded museum showcases the rich cultural diversity of Vietnam and highlights the vital role women play in society.

    Option 2:Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays). A must-visit for those interested in Vietnam's cultural diversity, this museum features a vast array of interactive exhibits representing the 54 ethnic groups of the country.

    Option 3: Hoa Lo Museum - The "POWS" Known as the "Hanoi Hilton", this historic site was built by the French and served during both the French colonial period and the Vietnam War. It offers documentaries of Vietnamese history in 20-21 centuaries. 

    Have a break for lunch. Continue spend your time for a nice walking in the French Quater to explore the history and architecture influence before stop for a cup of coffee when the train pass by.  The century-old train tracks that run through the heart of Hanoi’s Old Town have recently transformed into an intriguing attraction known as Hanoi Train Street, especially popular among travelers and foreigners. 

    To wrap up the day, travel back to the 11th century with an enchanting performance of the ancient art of water puppetry at the famous Water Puppet Theater. After the show, join a local guide to sample quintenssential Hanoi flavors by Street Food Tour. The treets of Hanoi are a feast for the senses. Visually appealing, morden style meet history and tradition interloped with sensational local cuisine. Be introduced to what the locals love, type of snacks, bowls of noodles, deserts...served street sides. Wrap up the evening with a draff beer at "Bia Hoi conner" watching the vibrant night time, then return to hotel for a good night's sleep. 

  • Day 3 : Travel to tea plantations and mountain landscapes

    In the morning, we'll drive from Hanoi to Muong Lo via Thanh Son. Muong Lo is renowned as one of the four most fertile valleys in Northwest Vietnam, primarily inhabited by the Thai ethnic group, who live in wooden stilt houses and cultivate water rice.

    Travel along the banks of the Da River, we’ll stop at Thanh Son to explore the lush green tea plantations.

    Upon arriving in Nghia Lo, you’ll check in at your homestay in a Thai village, where you can experience warm hospitality. You can then walk or bike around the village to admire the stunning rice field valleys and hamlets that feature traditional stilt houses and meet the friendly locals.

    Enjoy a dinner featuring special traditional local dishes cooked by your host.

  • Day 4 : Trekking rice terraces and encounter with H'mong people in Mu Cang Chai

    After breakfast, get a transfer to Mu Cang Chai where renowned for its breathtaking rice terraces, often regarded as the most beautiful in the world.

    We’ll make a stop in Tu Le to learn how the Thai people make the local snack "Cốm" from young sticky rice (season permitting). It is also a chance to engage with authentic local life.

    As we drive toward Khau Pha Pass, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the rice terrace valley. Stop as your wishes to capture the perfect photos.

    Upon arrive to La Pan Tan, embark on a trek along a legendary route favored by photographers to admire the exquisite rice terrace masterpieces crafted by Hmong farmers over generations.

    Enjoy the majestic landscape as we follow the trail from La Pan Tan to Mam Xoi. 

    After a day of exploration, enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a homestay.

  • Day 5 : Scenic drive to Sapa, visit Haven Gate.

    Wake up early and enjoy breakfast with a cup of coffee, surrounded by the lush rice terraces.

    Continue our journey by car to Sapa with the stunning landscapes of rice terraces, tea plantations, and the majestic Hoang Lien Son Mountain. For trekking enthusiasts, we’ll have the option to spend about an hour and a half walking uphill to visit the famous horseshoe-shaped terraced fields.

    The travel offers plenty of opportunities for photography and meet the Laotian and Lu women, who are known for their traditional blackened teeth and indigo clothing adorned with silver pieces.

    Follow the winding road, cross the O Quy Ho Pass, the longest and highest pass in Vietnam, measuring 54 km in length and reaching an altitude of 2,047 meters. We soft hike to the Haven Gate and soak in the breathtaking views.

    Arrive in Sapa in the late afternoon, a charming town discovered by the French in 1903. This destination attracts tourists with its temperate climate, beautiful rice valleys, stunning mountain ranges, and the rich diversity of minority tribes, including the Black Hmong, Red Zao, and Zay...

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 6 : Explore Muong Hoa rice terraces valley

    Depart from Sapa at 8:30 for the best chance of clear weather for stunning photos and views. Begin your full day of trekking from Y Linh Ho village. Follow the downhill path, we have the chance to interact with friendly H’mong women and children living in the valley. Take a moment to relax on the cable bridge, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

    For those seeking adventure, consider the uphill trek along the buffalo path, which offers breathtaking views and less tourists. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, enjoy a stroll along the Muong Hoa River down to the Lao Chai Bridge.

    Upon arriving at Lao Chai village, cross the rice fields to a small hamlet for a special visit with a Hmong craftsman, who uses beeswax for decoration to create unique Hmong indigo clothing. A great way to learn about their daily life and culture.

    Continue to visit Ta Van village, home to the Dzay people, located on a hillside with stunning views of the Muong Hoa River, rice terraces, and the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then stroll around the village to meet the locals.

    You can choose to stay at a homestay, join in a cooking class and enjoy dinner with your host, or return to your hotel in Sapa for a comfortable stay.

  • Day 7 : Conquer the peak of Indochina by cable car

    Check out of your hotel after breakfast. Your tour guide will escort you to Fansipan Sun World for the experience the beauty of Sapa in the most luxurious fashion.

    Conquer the peak of Indochina by taking the world’s longest non-stop three-rope cable car, spanning 6,292.5 meters. This is a lifetime opportunity to gaze upon the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and Muong Hoa Valley while enjoying breathtaking natural landscapes. The stunning views will create unforgettable memories for all who witness them.

    Take a break to visit the Buddhist complex before choosing to either take a mountain train or hike 500 steps uphill to leave your mark on the Peak of Indochina, standing at 4,143 meters high. On your way back, you may want a hot drink at a café located 3,000 meters above sea level.

    Meet your driver again then travel back to Hanoi. Arrival to your hotel in the late afternoon. 

  • Day 8 : Enchanting Ninh Binh ancient capital

    Your adventure begins with a private car and tour guide picking up for a scenic drive through the Red River Delta to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, you'll meet your boatman for an hour-long trip, visit the Van Long Nature Reserve, where you'll marvel at the stunning limestone mountains. On a lucky day, you might even spot gibbons foraging for food.

    Continue intouch with local culture by visiting a farmer's family, where you'll receive a warm welcome and have the opportunity to learn the art of embroidery.

    After have a lunch break at local restaurant, you will visit the Hoa Lu temples dedicated to the Dinh Dynasty kings (968-980) and the Early Le Dynasty (980-1009), who played a crucial role in getting back the country’s independence from Chinese rule for over a thousand years.

    In the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

  • Day 9 : Escape to Lan Ha Bay

    7:30 AM: Depart from Ninh Binh to Halong with a comfortable three-hour drive through the scenic Red River Delta.

    Upon arrival, be warmly welcomed to a romantic journey to explore one of the 20 most beautiful bay in the world - Lan Ha Bay.  A fantastic option for escaping the crowded tourist spots and fully immersing yourself in the enchanting beauty of nature. 

    Get a short transfer by speed boat/tender from harbor to check in your comfortable private cabin before enjoying a delightful lunch with sea food choices.
    Take some leisure time to admire the breathtaking scenery before setting off afternoon excursions. You can enjoy a relaxing bamboo boat rowed by fishman or try hands on kayaking to visit Bright Cave.
    If the weather permit, it is an ideally of swimming in the emerald green water among thousands of limestone islands.  
    As the sun sets, participate in a cooking class while the bar's Happy Hour is opened, the perfect view of Tonkin Bay.

    The fine dining experience for dinner, featuring a delectable tasting menu, promises to create unforgettable moments.

    Afterward, relax with your favorite drinks or you can also try your luck at squid fishing.

    Note: Cruises' departure time is from 11:30-12:00 at noon. Program activities may change depending on weather conditions and selected cruise.
  • Day 10 : Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

    Start your day early with a Tai Chi session on sun deck, breathing in the fresh air, and witness the sunrise over the bay.

    Enjoy a light breakfast complemented by a good cup of coffee or tea, preparing for a new-day adventure exploring the bay's rocky islands and natural beauty.

    Afterward, return to the cruise to complete the check-out process. Savor a delightful brunch at the restaurant while cruising back to the harbor. 

    Your private vehicle transfers you back to Hanoi or the airport to continue your holiday (up on request).
