The last stop is Patuxai which is known as the Victory Monument, is a prominent landmark in Vientiane. The name "Patuxai" means "Gate of Triumph" or "Victory Gate". Awaken to the tranquil sounds of the jungle and enjoy a hearty village breakfast freshly prepared by your guides. After breakfast, meet your group at the riverside behind the eco-lodge for a safety briefing and a short introduction to kayaking or rafting techniques. Then, set off down the river and feel the excitement as you navigate the first series of gentle rapids surrounded by lush forested hills.
As you paddle downstream, you’ll pass local fishermen and glimpse daily river life along the banks. Stop at Nalan Tai Village, home to the charming Khmu tribe, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Lao-style picnic lunch amidst beautiful natural surroundings.
Continue your journey downstream as the river winds through dramatic scenery — steep jungle-clad hills rising almost vertically on both sides. Make a stop at Nam Roy Village, home to the Lantan people, to learn about their traditional crafts, including natural dyeing and bamboo paper making.
Back on the river, the current quickens as you merge with the mighty Namtha River. Paddle the final stretch to Houy Leuat Village, marking the end of your kayaking adventure before returning to the office in the afternoon.

This program is the best option to spot gibbons. It is also our easiest trek with 1 hour of reasonably hilly access walk. You may also further trek and zipline to visit the other tree houses located on the same mountain range. We recommend early morning walks: your guides will be available just after dawn as animals are most active at this time. If you walk quietly in small groups and keep your eyes and ears open, you will appreciate a wide variety of plants, mammals, insects and birds that all compose the forest ecosystem. This tour offers more chances to see gibbons due to the proximity to most of the gibbon families and a more relaxed overall schedule.

As you second day of cruise along the Mekong River, you’ll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty and lush jungle. The guide and crew will host some enjoyable activities on board to enrich your experience. During your journey, you’ll be treated to a delicious traditional Lao lunch served right on the boat.
Our first stop will be at Ban Mouang village, famous for its lao lao whiskey. Here, you’ll get a glimpse into the local wiskey-making process and the vibrant culture of the village.
Following that, we’ll visit the Pak Ou Caves, known as Tham Ting, which are home to over 2,000 thousand Buddha statues. This sacred site is a significant pilgrimage location for Lao people. This morning, set out on a journey to one of the region’s most iconic natural landmarks – Kuang Si Waterfalls. En route, stop at a small ethnic minority village, where you’ll gain a meaningful insight into traditional Laotian life. Many customs and crafts here have been preserved for generations, offering a glimpse into the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Upon reaching Kuang Si Falls, you'll be greeted by a series of cascading turquoise pools set within a lush tropical forest. For those seeking a bit of adventure, a trail leads up to the top of the falls, where panoramic views of the jungle await. At the base, the cool, crystal-clear pools provide a perfect setting for a refreshing swim.
While at the falls, you’ll also have the option to visit the Free the Bears Rescue Centre, a sanctuary home to over 20 rescued Asiatic Black Bears saved from illegal wildlife trade. This inspiring initiative supports wildlife conservation and education.
